Raid Thai

The Raid Thai is a supported staged race, which competitors (individuals and teams) can complete on foot or on mountain bike. It is held in northern Thailand in the area around Chiang Mai. There are five daily stages, with overnights either in hotels or in bivouacs in local villages. There is also a strong element of tourism to the Raid Thai, with an option to spend an extra week on the beach in Southern Thailand at Phuket or Koh Samui.

This year the Raid Thai will take place from November 16th – 26th . The cost is approximately 1780 Euros, which includes return flights Paris to Bangkok, train to Chiang Mai, accommodation, purified water and medical assistance.

How Tough is it?
It is not hard to complete the Raid Thai. However as it is set in Northern Thailand you can expect to be hot and humid when you are in rainforest and plain hot when you are running in unprotected sun.
