The chances are that if you have got to the stage of looking for a team to compete with, you training is already under way, so your physical fitness is not an issue.
One of the major areas that can make or break a race for all concerned is the interaction of team members.
You are unlikely to really get to know your teammates properly until you are at the" hating the sight of each other stage".ie half –way through a race when you are suffering from sleep deprivation, hunger and injury!
Most races insist that teams must cross control points and eventually the finishing line together.
Failure to do this will result in disqualification.
This will also be the case if a team member drops out. The remainder of the team may in some cases be allowed to finish the event, but will not be officially finishing, as they will not be completing with a full team.
